Our inspiration and Race Founder

Jessica is the inspiration for Race Against the Sun. Some days were better than others, but her positive attitude is still helping “put Melanoma on the run” for the thousands of others battling melanoma.

   On September 17, 2007, Jessica found peace at Fox Chase Cancer Center, and as her husband Ed says, she shared three smiles in her last minute of life, one for Ed, one for her daughter Justine, and one for her son Eddie.

  We would like to thank you for all of your support that helped Jessica in her fight against melanoma cancer.

    Help us continue her mission by registering to run or walk for Jessica's Race Against the Sun 2008.

Putting Melanoma on the Run™

All proceeds benefit Race Against the Sun’s Melanoma Fund for Awareness, Prevention and Early Detection,

which supports St. Luke’s Cancer Centers in Bethlehem and Allentown, Fox Chase Cancer Center in Philadelphia, and other melanoma organizations.
